Matt Lantz, Licensed Professional Counselor Matt Lantz, Licensed Professional Counselor

Meet Matt Lantz

Matt has over a decade of counseling experience in multiple avenues including churches, a college counseling center, Bethany Christian Services as a therapist and supervisor, and for nearly seven years in private practice. Matt is now a certified brain professional through Amen Clinics, and when desired can integrate this specialization into the counseling work together. Matt is also specially trained in TBRI (trust-based relational intervention) which is a specific training to help families after adoption to build attachment and trust in their family unit. Matt is also an approved supervisor through the State of Michigan and enjoys supervising beginning therapists on their journey.

While far from getting it perfect, Matt aims to love the Lord with his heart, soul, and mind. He & his wife Amanda have been married for thirteen years. They have two biological children, eight and five, and are also in the process of adopting an ten-year-old daughter internationally from Haiti in the next year. When Matt is not in the counseling room, you can find him hanging out with his kids, playing or watching sports (especially UofM), or trying to get in a hike, run, or a good book.
